Payment Options

We are committed to providing multiple payment options to help make our care as accessible and convenient as possible. Learn more about the available payment options below.

Cherry Payment Plans

We have partnered with Cherry (which is an alternative payment method for healthcare services, similar to Affirm or Klarna) who offer true 0% APR payment plans. You can receive care immediately and pay in manageable monthly installments over up to 18 months. It takes minutes to apply (and will not impact your credit). You can use this to finance a specific number of individual treatments or our discounted packages. Check out Cherry Payment Plans.

Insurance

We are out of network with all insurance plans because in New York State, most health insurance policies do not currently cover massage or bodywork performed by a licensed massage therapist (the category for the majority of our services). The one service we offer that is covered a bit more often in NY is acupuncture. We are happy to provide superbills for reimbursement submission and suggest checking your out-of-network benefits in advance. If you are seeking reimbursement for acupuncture, we still suggest contacting your insurance company to get your precise benefits. Please contact us for the correct codes and details to ensure you get accurate information from your health insurance provider.

HSA/FSA Benefits

Haven DOES accept Health Savings (HSA) and Flex Spending (FSA) benefits via card, or can offer invoices for reimbursement. If you are not familiar with these types of accounts and how they work, see more* below. In NY, almost all FSA and many HSA cover massage therapy without much trouble. Many plans do have an asterisk that this must be either due to medical necessity or require a referral from your doctor (if this is the case, follow the same steps as Step 2 above for this letter). If you have a debit/credit card for one of these accounts, we can process it but DO NOT input that card into your Haven profile yourself, we must denote on our end it is a HSA/FSA card for it to be approved.

If your card declines for any reason, if you do not have a card, or if your HSA/FSA company contacts you for approval, usually they’ll want an invoice, but also may ask for the letter from your physician, and then generally will approve it for the remainder of the year. Some HSA policies that are tied directly to your health insurance can be more strict, so be sure to call them or review the terms of your policy online (again this would be listed under massage/manual therapy as there are no codes for CST or somatic work). Haven cannot confirm with 100% certainty that your plan will cover massage therapy even though it typically is covered, so it is best to double check in advance.

*While FSA is a benefit only offered through employers, HSA benefits are accessible to anyone who has a high-deductible health plan (for 2025, this means a policy with an individual deductible of $1,650 or more, or a family deductible of $3,300 or more). Especially if you have income that is not a single W2 employer, or itemize medical deductions on your taxes, you may be eligible to create a self-funded HSA. In short, these accounts save you up to 25% on health related services and products because money is set aside pre-tax. You should speak to your accountant or tax preparer to see if this could be right for you, but can also learn a bit more here.

Classpass Credits

Haven is a participating provider with ClassPass, a wellness class and service membership platform. For these sessions you would book directly though ClassPass but you are welcome to check availability directly with us first. Please note that our ClassPass service selection is not the same as our regular menu, so please ask if what you see is not listed. We also give the option to pay through Haven to extend ClassPass sessions.

Spa & Wellness Gift Cards

We accept gift cards from SpaWeek, which can be applied toward sessions at Haven. SpaWeek may also offer special promotions or discounts through their own platform that you’re welcome to take advantage of when booking with us.

Haven’s Financial Hardship Program

We have Financial Hardship Program providing discounted services to those in scenarios such as: unemployment, single parent, student, disability, retired/fixed income, etc. Space is limited but we are always rotating in new clients. Reach out for more information on our application process for this program (applications will be reviewed by management for approval). Please note due to the popularity of this program there is often a bit of a wait list.

New York State-based Programs

We are able to work with clients who can recieve reimbursement under:

  • No-Fault Insurance (ie car accidents)
  • Workers’ Compensation (on the job injuries)
  • Crime Victim Assistance through the NYS Office of Victim Services (OVS)
