What to Expect in a Session:
Ere approaches each session with a present and skillful touch, drawing from practices of deep connective tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, five elements shiatsu, Thai yoga, and cupping. With her years of experience in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), active meditation techniques, and inner child healing work, her goal is to guide you toward a space of mind-body awareness that can be transformative for the body’s inherent healing process. During Somato-Emotional Release sessions, Ere provides the tools necessary for self-nourishment and healing with minimalistic on-table dialogue, allowing you greater agency when it comes to your own health and happiness.
Ere strives to channel her love and passion for bodywork into creating a safe, aesthetic environment in which you can relax, heal, and return to your daily life recharged and better equipped to face the challenges of moving through this busy world.
More about Ere:
Ere is a New York state licensed holistic massage therapist with more than a decade of experience. Thanks to her upbringing in Japan, years of study and hands-on application in the West, she likens her practice to a meditation with the body—an attentive yet open focus that invites a deeper awareness of the physical experience.
Ere holds certifications in both hypnotherapy from the National Guild of Hypnotherapy and Craniosacral Therapy/SomatoEmotional Release from the Upledger Institute, as well as her work as a registered Ashtanga yoga instructor. Ere has also practiced in a diverse array of settings, even co-founding Padma NYC Meditation and Holistic Center, which sadly closed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
