What to expect in a session:
Lisa offers a calm, attentive, and knowledgeable therapeutic experience, taking time to listen closely to the body and respond to what is present. Her work is guided by the nervous system and informed by osteopathic principles. Massage therapy sessions often integrate CranioSacral Therapy with subtle structural, neuromuscular, and myofascial techniques, adjusted to each client’s needs and capacity. Lisa weaves principles of Ortho-Bionomy® into her work, using positional and reflexive release to encourage the body’s natural self-correcting processes rather than imposing change.
Throughout the session, she remains deeply attuned to the body’s cues, allowing tension patterns to soften and unwind at their own pace. Her approach is especially supportive for those recovering from injury or chronic pain, and for clients seeking to experience a deep change without solely relying on force.
More about Lisa:
Early in her career, Lisa experienced a profound healing after an osteopath resolved a cranial compression that had been contributing to neurological symptoms following a car accident. This pivotal experience redirected her path and deepened her dedication to understanding the body’s innate ability to heal.
Since then, Lisa has focused on the mind–body connection and injury recovery, integrating a sophisticated blend of osteopathic principles, myofascial release, and neuromuscular therapy into her massage practice. Her work is centered on restoring balance within the nervous system and supporting the body’s natural self-correcting mechanisms. Lisa also weaves principles of Ortho-Bionomy® into her sessions, a gentle, osteopathic-based approach that works through comfort, ease, and reflexive release rather than force. This allows the body to soften long-held tension patterns and move toward more functional alignment in a non-invasive way.
Lisa is a graduate of the Swedish Institute and completed her massage therapy training in 2007. Her approach is especially supportive for clients navigating injury, trauma, or chronic pain, and for those seeking a calm, thoughtful, and deeply respectful therapeutic experience.
