Haven offers complimentary 15-minute phone consultations to discuss any specific questions or concerns, and to ensure our services are the right fit for you. We strongly suggest a phone consultation prior to coming in for somatic therapies. Please reach out to schedule.

Tiered Pricing

Our tiered pricing reflects each practitioner’s experience, duration with the practice, and specialized training. You can learn more about each tier below to help you prioritize what’s most important to you when selecting a practitioner.

Tier 3 – Senior Therapist Pricing: Senior therapists at Haven are required to have a minimum of 10 years of experience under their particular licensure, and over 5 years of consistent experience working within their specialized discipline. In addition, senior therapists must have had a minimum of 3 years working within our practice. Senior therapists have achieved advanced certifications within their specialty and help to lead the other practitioners in our office with their knowledge and experience.

Tier 2 – Advanced Therapist Pricing: Advanced therapists at Haven are required to have a minimum of 7 years of experience under their particular license and a minimum of 2 years of consistent experience working within their specialized discipline within this office. In addition, advanced therapists will have been supervised and mentored by our founder/practice director as well as other leaders in our field during their time at Haven to increase their skills and knowledge. Advanced therapists are able to perform specific modalities such as SomatoEmotional Release, perinatal, TMJ/intra-oral work, et. al.

Tier 1 – Associate Therapist Pricing: Associate therapists at Haven have significant experience in the area of their primary licensure, yet are newer to CranioSacral Therapy. Associate Therapists are actively being supervised and mentored by our founder/practice director, as well as continuing their training in this modality to increase their skills and knowledge. Associate Therapists are able to offer basic CranioSacral Therapy protocols, and their sessions are informed by their experience in other areas. However, clients needing to treat specific conditions or seeking emotional/somatic processing would not be appropriate candidates for working with Associate CST Therapists.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. If you need to change or cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time to someone else in need of care. Changes or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

Taxes + Fees

We accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, as well as FSA/HSA cards. A credit card is required to reserve your appointment. When paying by card at the time of service, a 3.5% credit card processing fee will be added to your total.

All of our services (excluding acupuncture) will incur NY sales tax (4.875%) because the city does not deem “massage therapy” or any of its subspecialties a form of health care separate from nail techs or barbers (scroll to 311’s “examples of taxable items”). If you disagree with this requirement, we strongly encourage you to contact 311 or the NYC Dept of Finance to submit a complaint and let them know that massage therapy is a form of health care

Insurance

We are out of network with all insurance plans because in New York State, most health insurance policies do not currently cover massage or bodywork performed by a licensed massage therapist (the category for the majority of our services). We are happy to provide superbills for reimbursement submission and suggest checking your out-of-network benefits in advance. Please contact us for the correct codes and details to ensure you get accurate information from your health insurance provider.
